Terry Davis, the owner of TL Davis Electric & Design, brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the electrical industry. His journey began in Southern California, where he quickly developed the skills necessary to become a journeyman electrician. Wanting to grow his career, he moved to Denver, Colorado, in 1996 and became an independent electrical contractor. From the start, Terry built a reputation for delivering top-quality service, ensuring every job was done efficiently and correctly the first time.

During his time in Denver, Terry worked on a variety of electrical projects, from large-scale commercial developments to detailed residential work. His experience includes projects such as the Red Lion and Sheraton hotels, a historic downtown Denver building, and a million-dollar penthouse apartment. He was also one of the electrical contractors involved in the construction of the Broncos Stadium. Throughout the city, he worked on tenant improvements for retail stores and office spaces, ensuring businesses had the power they needed to operate efficiently. In addition to commercial projects, he also worked on small- and medium-scale new construction projects, including custom home builds and standalone commercial spaces such as AutoZones, Dairy Queens, and a variety of restaurants.

In 2002, Terry moved his company to Arizona, where he continued his work as a commercial and residential electrical contractor. While there, he collaborated with the City of Phoenix to bring residential electrical systems up to code through their residential improvement program, helping homeowners make their properties safer and more efficient.

As the economy slowed in 2009, Terry moved his family to Oklahoma, where he took on the role of an electrical estimating manager at an electrical supply house. In this position, he worked behind the scenes, designing electrical systems and putting together bids for contractors across the state. Though he was successful in this role, he missed the hands-on side of electrical work and the direct interaction with customers. In 2016, he decided to return to what he loved most and founded TL Davis Electric & Design.

Today, TL Davis Electric & Design is known for working closely with homeowners to bring their electrical visions to life. With a degree in electrical design, Terry ensures that every project meets the customer’s specific needs, whether that involves installing new lighting fixtures, designing outdoor security lighting, or upgrading a home’s electrical system.

Over the years, Terry has developed a strong reputation for electrical troubleshooting. He has spent much of his career diagnosing electrical issues in homes and businesses, developing an expert ability to trace circuits and pinpoint the source of a problem. Whether it’s a malfunctioning breaker, faulty wiring, or an overloaded circuit, he can quickly find a solution that’s both effective and cost-efficient.
